"Impact of Resentment"
______ By Aranna Hasan Delwar.
When night merges with the city lights,
I go alone and spread my dreams beneath the moonlight.
That one face, spinning within my mind,
mixes with the regret in my heart, casting a radiant glow.
I want to awaken my heart, I want to feel it,
lighting up the darkness of my mind, just to see you once.
I've woven many dreams where your smile blossoms,
and the light from your eyes breaks through my resentment.
The scent of Bakul flowers lingers in the air,
I held a garland of flowers in my hand,
but lacked the courage to give it to you.
Yet even the flowers, one day, will wither away,
and seeing them dry up, my heart feels the pain.
But my heart's resentment has deep roots,
nobody else sees it, only I know.
I carry the wound of resentment every day,
but I lack the courage to confess my love to you.
