You see the ocean in my eyes,

Blue waters shimmering, my eyes,

You said you loved them so.

You wanted my heart to be a kite in the sky,

I opened my chest for you,

Gave you the freedom to fly as you wished.

You wanted to build a home in my mind,

I gave you land and a home,

And you stayed for quite a while.

You felt heavenly joy from my touch,

So you would rest your head on my soft chest,

Anytime, I never stopped you.

When you returned tired,

I would offer you water to quench your thirst,

You drank as much as you liked.

Yet you left,

You never had love for me,

All you had was desire.

Now I am empty, void.
