One Day

_____By Aranna Hasan Delwar.

One morning I will rise as the morning sun

I will float your heart in the sea of love,

Falling leaves in the afternoon in the rhythm of poetry

I will write a new poem.

I will return as a bird song in the spring

Your life is in the forest

I will tie a small nest in a new tune.

With the touch of love on the night of Ekadashi

I will fill all the imperfections

I will sink to the depths of my chest with absolute compassion.
