Starving children of Gaza

____ By Aranna Hasan Delwar.

In Gaza's land, where shadows loom,

Starving children under the moon.

Their hollow eyes, devoid of mirth,

Echo the pain of a troubled earth.

In streets adorned with dust and despair,

They wander, searching for a crumb to spare.

Their tiny frames, frail and weak,

Bearing the burden that adults speak.

Amidst the rubble, they stand alone,

Their cries drowned in a world of stone.

Hungry bellies, a silent plea,

For mercy in a land where hope flees.

Their laughter silenced by hunger's wail,

Innocence tarnished by the world's travail.

Yet, in their eyes, a flicker remains,

A spark of resilience amidst the pains.

Oh, starving children of Gaza's plight,

In the darkness, you shine bright.

For in your struggle, we see the fight,

For a future where every child's right.

May the world heed your silent call,

And lift you up before you fall.

May nourishment be your guiding star,

And peace embrace you from afar.
