I was scared at first.

I was afraid and thought,

I can't live without you.

Now I'm back from space,

I can't find that sad look on my face anymore.

It took all my strength to break away,

Trying with all my might to mend my broken heart.

I spent many nights feeling sorry for myself,

I cried but now I stand with my head held high.

You see me now as someone new,

That lonely man is still not in love.

Now I live in hope of my deliverance,

Now I am saving all my love for someone who will love me.

Out the door I turn now,

You're the one who tried to hurt me by saying goodbye?

Did you think I would break down?

Did you think I would die lying down?

i survived

As long as I know how to love,

I know I will survive.

I got my life back to live,

Got all my love back for wasting away..........
